An intrapreneurial marketing leader, team builder and people manager with over 15 years of multidisciplinary experience. Joelle dives into data, market research and solicits input to understand needs and trends, reveal opportunities and optimize strategies. She is currently a Growth and Marketing Consultant working with US and Canadian clients to drive incredible demand and profitable revenue.

Previously, as the Head of Growth & Marketing at Billdr, a vertically integrated home renovation marketplace, she led a talented high-growth, customer-focused marketing team to attract, inspire, educate, engage, sign, and support homeowners and general contractors throughout their home renovation journey. Started as a team of one, and scaled to managing a team of four, 30 freelancers, and several agencies. Within the first year, Joelle and her team drove 6x revenue and 10x sales qualified leads YoY via a 360º content, SEO, CRO, PR, and creative SMM and SEM strategies.

As the Director of Marketing & Growth at Bookmark, a global content and communications agency (part of WPP Network), she initiated and built a new marketing department to create brand awareness, disseminate thought leadership and generate demand. She introduced and implemented SEO, CRO, and digital PR tactics, increasing new business opportunities by 10x within the first year. Her team’s efforts surpassed revenue targets in Canada, secured the agency’s first two scalable US clients, and achieved market penetration in Asia. 

Joelle has spoken at several international industry conferences such as MozCon, Social Media Week, BrightonSEO’s eCommerce SEO Summit and the Growth Festival covering topics such as growth, social commerce, eCommerce SEO, and visual search. She has also contributed content to industry blogs, magazines, and podcasts.

Having led and built teams for over a decade, Joelle is a strong leader who invests time in coaching, developing, and motivating her teams to deliver bottom-line results.
